Every piece of content — video, article, podcast episode, social post — sits inside the same framework: follow strategies, never the stock of the moment. The Outback Investor Method (Greenblatt 35% / Graham 25% / Siegel 25% / Bazin 15%) is the lens we apply to everything.
Stocks have to clear a clear quality bar before we even discuss them: profitable at least the last 3 years (ideally 5), Net Debt/EBITDA below 2x (in some cases up to 3x), listed at least 5 years (3 minimum), tag-along of 100%. Companies that fail these tests are disqualified — we don't go softer because the chart looks exciting.
We hold for the long term, rebalance by adding to under-balanced positions with new money (not by selling winners and triggering CGT), and only ever sell if a company loses its fundamentals. Physical real estate matters for peace of mind; A-REITs and US-REITs are the listed equivalent. Cash is the foundation, alternative assets (Bitcoin, gold, small caps) are a satellite, never the core.
